9. Use a good makeup removing product. Makeup mixed with your sweat and sebum is deadly for your pores. Even if you didn’t put on makeup, if you are out and about most of the day, it is not a bad idea to use makeup remover to take off all the day's dirt and oil secretion.
10. The colorful nail polishes go better with short nails. Try using lighter colors for fingers and more dramatic colors for toes. Candy colors are definitely in when you're outdoors.

Feel and Smell Fresh

I believe no one of us dislike fragrances that keep us feel and smells fresh all the daylong.

Fregfances come in various types and may categorized as classic Perfumes, Eau-de-Perfume, Eau-de-Cologne and Eau-de Toilette. The difference between types is mainly due the concentration of fragrant oils; rather it were naturally extracted or synthetically made and diluted using water and high-grade alcohol.

Fragrance with highest concentration of oil lasts the longest. Perfume or Parfum Classic has the highest concentration of essential oils which contain more than 22%. While  Eau de Perfume has 15 to 22%, Eau de Toilette or deodorant has 8% to 15% oils and lastly Cologne has about 4%.

Cologne may lasts for only two hours. Eau-de-perfume may last for as many as four to five hours while perfumes can last up to more than six hours.

There are some tips to take note for best result when you're wearing fragrance:

• Best spots to apply perfume: the nape (back) of the neck, inner elbow, cleavage, behind the ears and along the shoulders.
• If your skin is allergic to some kind of fragrance, apply it to scent your bags, purses, hair, jackets or clothes as long as not directly in contact with your skin.
• To test if the skin is allergic to a particular perfume, apply a small amount on the wrist, or the inner elbow or the back of the hand/arm and if there is a reaction after 1 hour, then the perfume is probably not for suitable. 
• To prolong a bottle of perfume, place it in a cool dry place. Exposure to sun can lead to discoloration, smell alteration and evaporation.

Sexy, Smoky Eye Makeup for Big Eyes

Want Sexy, Smoky Eyes?  Here's How!

The first step to sexy smoky eyes is, of course, eyeliner!  You can use either a pencil or a liquid.  I suggest drawing a thin line in either a black or dark brown color....following along the top eyelash line (OR you can apply eyeliner from the top inner corner to top outer corner of the eyes), whichever you like best.  Then add a bit of eyeliner underneath the eye in the outside corner.  Note:  Avoid ringing the eye with eyeliner, as this can make the eyes appear smaller. 

IMPORTANT MAKEUP COLOR PRINCIPLE:  Lighter colors create fullness and highlight an area, while darker colors create depth and definition. 

Let's continue creating those smoky eyes with eye shadows next!  Try using a medium-toned shadow on the lid, then a dark-toned eye shadow color on the outer corners of the eyelid, in the eyelid crease under the browbone, and in the corners underneath the eye (eyeshadow applied over your eyeliner); see the illustration below.  A lighter shadow can be applied softly directly underneath the eyebrow as a highlighter.

Here is an illustration of where to apply a medium-toned eye shadow (Silverado) and two darker-toned eye shadows (Navajo Brown, Slate blended together) in the corner and eyelid crease under the browbone.  The three QDazzle(TM) eye shadow tones used here are "Silverado" Frosty Eye Shadow, "Navajo Brown" and "Slate" Matte Eye Shadows.




Of course, curling your eyelashes will help show off your eyes too!  Next apply your eyelash conditioner, let dry, then apply your mascara.  You can use several coats of mascara (letting each coat dry thoroughly before applying the next coat helps avoid clumping).  For extra drama, as a final touch try a fun pair of sexy false eyelashes!

Fresher look on summer

Hi, I found these somewhere in the internet. I think it's good  makeup application techniques for the hottest season of the year:

1. Instead of foundation, use sunscreen as your base and put loose powder on top. Not only will your skin be able to breathe, you’ll be protecting yourself against those harsh rays!

2. Try brown eyeliner/mascara instead of black for a softer look. Summer is all about looking natural–give it a whirl!

3. Brush some sheer shimmer shadow on your temples for a dewey glow–it will compliment your natural summer luminescence!

4. Stock up on lip gloss or lip balm with an SPF–it will add to your natural sparkle.

5. Most importantly, make sure you feel like YOU. Makeup should compliment your features, not hide them.
